I pulled into our driveway today after returning from some meetings to find that a beautiful batch of purple flowers had started to pop up on our lawn. I went over to investigate and found a bee, nearly as excited as me, doing somersaults all over the flower. I thought that this was such a great little precursor to spring, which is my favorite time of the year.
