For a while now I have wanted to create an “inspiration board” or a space to collect things that inspire me. Whenever I start a design, I start with researching everything to do with whatever my subject is, and collect as much imagery as I can. The issue is that all of my inspiration is either in books, or on the computer, making it difficult to take in all at once. Now that we live in a house where I have a room dedicated as my “craft room” I thought it would be a good time to set up an inspiration board. I would like to make this much much bigger but I think that this is a great start so far. This current inspiration board is compiled of images patterns colors and textures for some designs I am doing for work right now. I love how the board not only collects all of my creative thoughts in one place, but at the same time solves an issue of not much art on the walls in this room.
