One of the fun things about living in our current place is not knowing what will pop up in our yard since we were not the ones who planted it. This being our first spring in the house means lots of little suprises as things bloom.

Today I went to the backyard and found that we had a few beautiful red flowers in bloom…I think they are tulips.

I am in love with their highly saturated color in contrast with the green ivy behind them and the brown bark of the tree
