I had to opportunity to go home to Marin County and visit my family over Christmas. I got into a discussion with my Grandparents about how I never seem to decorate my bedroom. It always ends up as the blandest room in the house, which makes sense considering it is my least used room. However, I have spent a lot of time hanging art through the rest of the house, and felt it was time to work on the bedroom. For Christmas, my Aunt gave me two photo albums, which gave me the forward push to finally get some of my old photographs printed. On top of getting photographs for the albums, I selected three photographs to have printed as 8″ x 10″ to frame. I selected photographs from a Camping trip I took last year near Astoria Oregon. I then selected some thick black frames, and hung these on either side of the bed. It still looks quite plain, but it is a start. I hope to add some larger pieces to the room to brighten it up
